This is the latest video from Facebook’s Facebook Studio website. It’s a short introduction to best practices when managing a Facebook page. They mention a “conversation calendar”, these are also refereed to as content and editorial calendars. I have found monthly and weekly content calendars work best but don’t over plan. Being able to react on the fly is incredibly important when using any form of social media to engage with a community.

The worrying news that many of us suspected has finally come out. Sony’s PSN servers have been compromised and potentially 75 million of us have had our data stolen. Some of you reading this won’t care in the slightest, others will be mildly concerned and a few of you may be bouncing off the walls panicking. What I have done is put together a few top tips on how to protect yourself. Pick and mix from them all depending on what data you believe Sony have (or rather did have). These are largely online common sense which I hope many of will do anyway.
